Our Story
The idea for ISM Japan began when our founding team saw how many international students and new residents struggled with basic needs—housing, language, local services—despite their ambition and excitement about living in Japan. Drawing on years of experience working with foreign nationals, we launched our first apartment support service near major universities in Beppu and Ōita. Step by step we expanded, always keeping one goal in mind: to provide full-service support in English (and the local language) so newcomers can focus on life and study, not paperwork and worry. Today we operate across multiple cities, offering housing, utilities setup, community connection and more.
